"Mr Bean" Mr Bean was born on the 4th April 1996 he was one of three puppies. He was such a funny little puppy that within the first three weeks of his life we decided that he was such a special man that he had to join our family. At that time we were doing a lot of "Showing" so we decided to take him to ring craft classes, which we did everyone who met him fell in love with him, then at 17 weeks disaster struck he was taken seriously ill and spent a week in the veterinary hospital, we were told that there was not much chance of him recovering and basically to start thinking of life without him, miracles do happen he pulled through and it turned out that he had Chronic Gastro Enteritis, though he had not shown the symptoms, it was just as though he was fading away, luckily he didn't and he is here with us today. When at six months we started to show him he won lots of classes, groups and even shows, until one day some jealous person decided to ruin his showing career by giving him some tablets that made him really ill. I suppose they did win after that as Mr Bean from that day to this did not like showing any more rather than force him we decided to rest him, but even that has not worked we love him more for what he has been through, he is such a happy little chap, when he is out and about with us, he loves to go on long walks and camping holidays, he is happy and so are we. Earlier this year he had to have his anal glands removed due to repeatedly getting an abscess. The picture to the left shows him with his "halo" not long after he had had surgery. Last year Mr Bean sired a litter sadly one being Penny to whom this web site is dedicated, the other being our own little Meg. I could go on to write reams about how wonderful he is, but to sum up he is our "Little Super Man"
